INTERIM GODDESS OF LOVE
Author: Mina V. Esguerra
Hannah Maquiling, a college sophomore, never thought of herself as anything special - just an ordinary girl with a pretty typical life, so it's puzzling when everyone starts confiding in her about their love problems. She's never even had a boyfriend, yet people seem to turn to her for advice, but that's nothing compared to what happens next: the Goddess of Love, the celestial being responsible for keeping the world's obsession with love (and the lack of it) in check, has gone AWOL. And it's up to Hannah to step in - temporarily, of course.
Enter the God of the Sun- impossibly handsome, undeniably charming, and, conveniently, posing as a senior at an exclusive college just outside Metro Manila. With a little divine training, he believes Hannah can handle the job. While she's not convinced, she doesn't have much of a choice. Her first task? To help Kathy, a shy student with a secret admirer. Hannah's mission is to figure out if the admirer is genuine or just a Creepy stalker- and guide them toward a happy ending. or at least something that lasts until next semester. As if the stakes weren't high enough, Hannah must navigate her new responsibilities while trying to keep up with college life, love advice, and, oh yeah, the very attractive Sun God who's got her feeling more than a little distracted. Can she juggle her normal life with divine duties - and maybe even discover a little bit about her own heart along the way?
Interim Goddess of Love was the first book of Mina's that I read and was immediately blown away! I read it from cover to cover in one sitting and became an instant fan. If you're reading this book for the first time !'m so jealous, You're in for a real treat!

ABOUT THE IMPRINT
Vida New Adult is an imprint that welcomes readers to stories of life and love. These are tales of "new adults"--those navigating the defining years of 18 to 30, when independence is both thrilling and frightening, and every action has real consequences. These are stories about discovering the places where we belong, and the people we ought to be. Expect a Vida New Adult main character to be hopeful, loving, competent, sharp, snarky, and cautious-maybe not quite ready to be the adult that the world wants them to be, but they will get through it. Learn and grow with us as we explore what it takes to thrive- one story at a time.
