ICON OF THE INDECISIVE
Author: Mina V. Esguerra

Hannah Maquiling, a college student and temporary Goddess of Love, has had enough of being everyone's go-to relationship guru. It's her turn to find romance. After a year of navigating the chaos of helping others with their love lives at Ford River College- and facing the countless challenges that come with being the Interim Goddess of Love (a job she never asked for) Hannah is more than ready for her own happily ever after. No more playing matchmaker, no more sorting through other people's romantic messes. This time, it's all about her. For as long as she can remember, she's had a crush on the impossibly handsome Quìn, the God of the Sun. But Quin, as far as she understands, is destined to fallin’ love with an extraordinary mortal woman, so she's pretty much given up hope of ever being with him.

But it's not like she's out of options for a classic college romance. There's Diego, the God of the Sea and Quin's best friend (and sometimes enemy). With his mysterious allure and effortless charm, Diego is hard to resist. Then there's Robbie, the sweet, ordinary campus guy who's been quietly making his feelings known. Robbie may not have divine powers, but he's definitely someone who knows what he wants and he wants Hannah. How hard can it be for a goddess to find someone to love and to be loved in return? With a love triangle (or maybe five squares), divine tension, and a human heart caught in the middle, Hannah might just find out that the hardest part of love isn't matchmaking - it's figuring out who's truly meant for you.

When l first read The Interim Goddess of Love, it was unlike anything 1 had ever read before, I fell in love with Hannah and her world and J loved how Filipino mythology was seamlessly woven into our present-day reality But more than that, as with all of Mina V Esguerra's books, felt myself transported into a place never - wanted to leave.
