Doomsday Dance Party
Stories by Nikki Alfar
Armageddon approaches–but maybe you can help your precog roommate stave it off, at least for another decade or two. Or possibly your own personal world already ended–only the bitch who broke you is back, sexier and sneakier than ever, wanting to slay one last dragon together. Perhaps you're a warrior princess, the best hope to end the conflict that's been ravaging your people–except, being more warrior than princess, you're not entirely sure you want to.
In these scenarios and more, acclaimed author Nikki Alfar casts a wry gaze on endings and how we endure them. Sometimes, you just gotta dance about it.

About the Author:
Nikki Alfar is a wife, mother, fictionist, dancer, martial arts student, knitter, and origami folder. She has yet to receive acclaim for folding, knitting, fighting, dancing, mothering, or wifing, but has managed to cadge repeated recognition from the Palanca, Nick Joaquin, and international Mariner literary authorities, along with back-to-back National Book Awards for her short fiction collections WonderLust and Now, Then, and Elsewhen.
She has a children’s book, Menggay’s Magical Chicken, and her work has otherwise seen print in numerous local and global publications. She’s edited more speculative fiction anthologies than she can count— there’ve been many, and her math is egregious.
Doomsday Dance Party is her third collection of short stories.
